Salarjung pedestrian bridge: Architectural drawings approved

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary of Telangana State approved Architectural drawings of pedestrian bridge across Musi River. Estimate cost of the bridge is Rs. 231.5 crore.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, the project includes construction of multilevel car parking at Quli Qutub Shah Complex.

The architectural drawings were submitted in the Board meeting of Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited. After the meeting, officials were asked to invite tenders for the project. They were asked to follow Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Mr. Mohan Naik, HRDCL Chief Engineer and other senior officials.

It may be mentioned that the new bridge is under consideration to accommodate fruit vendors.
