SC and HC Judges visit Nizam’s Museum

Hyderabad: “It is not possible to praise the unique monuments of the Late Nizam VII.” These expressions were made by the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, Ms Mukta Gupta when she visited Nizam’s Museum, Purani Haveli at Hyderabad.

She visited the Museum yesterday along with Supreme Court Judge, Justice Ghosh Dutta. He also praised the monuments.

They saw the 150 year old hand operated lift, the wardrobe of VI Nizam, Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan, the most valuable tiffin box, golden Pandaan, Ugaldan, Khaas daan, scent box, Changardaan, Album and the gifts presented to the Nizam of Hyderabad on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of his coronation held in 1936.

Earlier, Mr Shoukat Hussain, Administrative Officer of the Museum, the Convener of the Museum, Mr Ahmed Ali and Mr Fareed showed them various monuments of the Museum.
