Hyderabad: The State Election Commission has issued orders postponing the counting date from May 27 and revised date for counting of votes will be notified shortly.
Further, it is informed that, the State Election Commission requested the Government to amend the provisions relating to conduct of the 1st meeting of MPPs and ZPPs , so as to complete indirect elections for the posts of President and Vice Presidents of MPPs and Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of ZPPs in quick succession to the counting and declaration of results of the government. A revised date for counting of MPTCs and ZPTCs will be notified by the State Election Commission.
