Social activists visit Kashmir, present report

New Delhi: Another ground reality report has been made public on the present situation of Jammu and Kashmir which indicates that a Civil Disobedience Movement is going on in Kashmir. The Kashmiris who used to stage protests on every issue are now maintaining silence which is worrying Modi Govt.

A team of social activists led by Anhad’s Shabnam Hashmi toured J&K for a week. The team included Anirodh Kala, Revanti Lula and B. D’souza.

They addressed a press conference held at Press Club of India, New Delhi in which they presented a report containing the present situation prevailing in J&K.

The Kashmiris who used to oppose the stand of Modi Govt. for scrapping Article 370 and bifurcation of State into two UTs are now maintaining silence which is an indication of civil disobedience.

Addressing the press conference, Ms. Shabnam Hashmi told that if terrorism is increased, Modi and Amit Shah responsible for it. She informed that she met more than 400 Kashmiris and said that there is a disagreement on the policies of Modi and Shah. She also said that Modi Govt. damaged the Kashmiri situation more than the militants of Pakistan did during the past 70 years.
