Hyderabad: Many social organisation, social activists and individuals are working to feed the poor, homeless needy people since the lockdown begins in the city.
Social worker, Majid Shuttari and his team are working in old city and they are distributing 1900 food packet daily to needy, homeless people in the area like Hafez Baba Nagar, Santoshnagar, Chandryangutta.
Not only social workers and rich individuals are working in the lockdown to feed the poor but also the one who is having the courage and talent, they are also coming forward to help these people.
Syed Zahid Mahdi, a chef by profession came forward to help and he is cooking food for the organisations for free. Amid lockdown, every person is thinking to earn some money but Syed Mahdi thought to earn good deeds as he cannot afford to feed.
Moghalpura Azam Function Hall is a place where the food is being cooked and distributed in the poor since the lockdown starts. Social activists, Jasveen Jairaj, Sara Mathews, Ghouse Khamushi Trust and Mehar Organisation is in the front line.
The Team Social Workers are distributing two time meals to the poor and needy people.
