Sri Lankan blast victim’s body arrived in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The body of Vemuri Tulsi Ram (35), who died in the Easter Sunday blasts, arrived in the city on Wednesday.

According to the Times of India report, he was on a business trip along with his two friends, Srinivas and Manoj. They stayed in the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.

On Sunday, Tulsi Ram and Srinivas were having breakfast at Shangri-La Hotel when it was attacked by a suicide bomber, while Manoj returned to India on Saturday.

The casket carrying the body of Tulsi Ram arrived on Wednesday morning at RGIA and later was shifted to his resident in Ameerpet.

When Ram’s body arrived his mother and sister were inconsolable. His body was taken in a hearse van to the cemetery and the coffin was lowered into the grave in accordance with Christian customs.
