Srinagar: Restrictions in Valley over custodial killing of civilian

Srinagar: Restrictions have been imposed on Wednesday in parts of Srinagar city despite heavy rains to avoid protests against the custodial killing of one civilian, Rizwan Ahmad a School Teacher, and a Jammat-e-Islami associate.

A complete shutdown is being observed across the valley against the alleged custodial killing of Rizwan Ahmad. All the business establishments are closed, various schools are closed and traffic is off the roads.

Mobile internet service has been brought down to 2g in many parts of the Valley. A large number of troops are deployed in various places to maintain law and order.
