Srinagar: Truck carrying currency caught fire in South Kashmir

Srinagar: A truck carrying Indian Currency caught fire on NHW at South Kashmir’s Qazigund area just a day before the poll in Anantnag constituency.

As per reports a Truck bearing number JK05A 8795 carrying junk material caught fire near Panzath area of Qazigund due to unknown reasons.

It was not immediately confirmed whether the currency was transported illegally for distribution among voters of Anantnag Parliamentary seat or its claimable, however, both the driver and conductor of the truck said that we don’t know that from where the money came in our truck.

When last reports came to desk both Driver and conductor of the truck were being questioned by police
