New Delhi: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invited applications for the recruitment of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.
It has also issued an ‘important notice’ informing aspiring candidates of CHSL examination to submit applications before the closing date i.e., 10th January 2020 as there will be heavy traffic on servers during the last days.
Age limits
As per the recruitment notification, the minimum and maximum age limits of the candidates are 18 and 27 years as on 1st January 2020.
For Lower Division Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operators (DEOs) DEO (except DEOs in C&AG), the candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University whereas, for Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), they should be 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
