A student of Political Science of the Presidency University of Kolkata made a complaint against her professor that he has been harassing her sexually.
The internal complaints committee of the university started investigations against the professor.
However, the professor contradicted all the allegations and said that a conspiracy is being hatched against him to tarnish his image.
On 12th December, the 20-year-old student in a written complaint had alleged that the professor has been sexually harassing her for the past one and a half year. The student posted it on her Facebook also yesterday. This post was shared 60 times.
Many other students also complained against the said professor that they are also facing the same situation.
When this issue came to limelight, the students of the first and second years also started boycotting the classes of the professor.
In his defense, the professor told that students have hatched this conspiracy against him since he had expressed his opinion to support CAA, NRC, NPR.
He also told that it is a politically motivated issue.
