New Delhi: A march was organised by Jamia Millia Islamia Students Forum on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. 15 km peace march started from the shrine of 3rd president of India Dr Zakir Husain (Jamia Millia Islamia) and by passing through NFC reached the Mata Mandir.
People warmly welcomed the students participated in the yatra and prayed for the peace and integrity of the country.
From the Ashram, the yatra reached Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah where they were received warmly by the people. Students paid floral tribute to Hazrat Nizamuddin.
From there, students went to Raj Ghat where they visited the exhibition based on the ideology of Gandhi Ji.
