Hyderabad: Nobody is born with extraordinary\nqualities, every person has the capacity to excel. University students must\nstrive hard to horn their creative skills as the world is continuously moving\nahead. \n\n\n\nHon\u2019ble Governor Kerala, Mr. Arif Mohammad Khan expressed these views today at the valedictory\nsession of\nthe two-day national seminar "Pandit Hari Chand Akhtar, in the Mirror of\nUrdu Poetry and Journalism" at DDE Auditorium, MANUU Campus.\n\n\n\nThe seminar was organized by Maulana\nAzad National Urdu University in collaboration with IDEA Communication and Majlis Fakhre Bahrain for Promotion of Urdu. \n\n\n\nDr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz,\nVice-Chancellor, MANUU presided over the valedictory. \n\n\n\nMr. Arif Mohammad Khan agreed to the view expressed by Dr. Aslam Parvaiz\nthat Urdu is a language of love. However, while giving a word of caution he\nsaid that we need to identify the forces using this sweet language to spread\nhatred. Mr. Arif\nMohammad Khan also paid rich tribute to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The Urdu\nUniversity is named after this legendary personality.\n\n\n\nHe also\nadmitted the role of film music in popularizing the Urdu and Hindi languages. In\nkerala, after assuming the office of Governor only recently, he had been\ninvited twice by Mohd. Rafi foundation in 2 different cities of this southern\nstate. \n\n\n\nEarlier, Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz\ncongratulated the organizers of the seminar, IDEA Communication and Majlis Fakhre Bahrain for Promotion of Urdu for choosing Pt.\nHarichand Akhtar as a theme of the seminar. He said the canvas of Urdu needs\npersonalities like Pt. Harichand to give it a different shade. We need unifying\nfactors, Urdu is the language which started the process of unification in this\ncountry, he remarked. \n\n\n\nEarlier, 3 eminent personalities, Mr.\nZahid Ali Khan, Editor, Siasat daily, Hyderabad, Mr. Kareem Irfan, Iqra Society\nand Prof. A. Arvinda Kishan, Former VC, Mahatma Gandhi Antarashtriya Hindi\nUniversity were felicitated by the Governor for their outstanding contributions\nin respective fields. Mr. Shakeel Ahmad Sabrhadi, Founder, Majlis Fakhre Bahrain delivered the welcome\naddress. Mr. Asif Azmi, Director, IDEA Communications conducted the\nproceedings.
