New Delhi: An 18-year-old boy died while two others were injured in a major road accident here on Saturday.
“The incident occurred at around 5:40 am near Jwalaheri market chowk on road no. 30. A damaged white coloured Honda City car was found from the spot,” a senior police official said.
The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Himanshu whereas the injured persons were 21-year-old Sahib and 18-year-old Jayant.
The injured persons were immediately sent to a nearby hospital where Himanshu was declared brought dead.
A case was registered under Section 279, 337 and 304A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Paschim Vihar (East) police station.
Further investigation in the matter is underway.
