Sangareddy: In yet another incident a drunk father hacked his two children to death and injured another daughter in the early wee hours of Tuesday today in RC Puram Mandal, police sources said.
The drunk father aged around 40 was a daily wage earner was deserted by his wife as he frequently quarreled with her on petty issues. Unable to look after the children, the drunk father strangulated his youngest daughter Saranya ((4) and Akhil (7) to death but his eldest daughter Malleshwari was attacked with a knife but somehow managed to escape from death at the hands of her father.
Malleshwari sustained serious injuries and is battling for her life at the hospital. The accused wife Gouri had left him to live with her parents a weeks ago. The incident is reported from Bombay Colony, TT reports.
This gruesome crime has created a sensation in the area with people demanding to see the bodies of the two dead children.
A case was registered against the accused Kumar and the inquiry is on. The Police have shifted the bodies to Area Hospital, Patancheru for postmortem.
