Hyderabad: Osmania University (OU) released the timetable of degree exams. The examination will start on 15th September 2020.

The examination of B.E.VIII Semester (CBCS) Main, & 4/2 Semester (Non-CBCS) Backlog, B.Ed IV-Semester (Regular, Backlog & Improvement), B.P.Ed / D.P.Ed IV Semester, B.Pharmacy VIII Semester (CBCS) Main, & 4/2 Semester (Non-CBCS) Backlog, BCA (CBCS) VI Semester (Main), BCA (NON-CBCS) III/II Sem (Backlog) and BHMCT & BCTCA (CBCS & Non-CBCS) Regular & Backlog will begin on 15th September whereas, the examinations of B.A.\B.Com.\B.Sc.\BBA\BSW. VI Semester Main and Backlog & B.A/B.Com and BBA(CDE) III Year are scheduled to start on 22nd September.
The University decided to conduct the examination of LL.B (3-YDC), LL.B HONOURS (3-YDC), BA.LL.B (5-YDC), B.B.A LL.B (5-YDC), B.COM LL.B (5-YDC) (Regular & Backlog) and LL.M Fourth Semester (Regular & Backlog) from 23rd September.

UGC guidelines
Earlier, the University in a letter asked all its affiliated colleges to conduct final semester examination of UG and PG courses including backlogs.
Final semester examinations of OU Postgraduate courses are likely to be held in October 2020.
The universities are left with no option but to conduct examinations of final semester students in order to comply with UGC guidelines.
UGC guidelines that were upheld by the Supreme Court state that the results of final semester students can be declared only after conducting the examinations.
