TRS failed in Parliament: Ravula

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy today lashed out at the TRS MPs for failing to take up the issues of the State in Parliament session. He ridiculed that MP Kavitha has been talking of turmeric board for several years in vain as the Centre is yet to make up its mind.

Talking to media persons here today, he accused the TRS leadership of miserably failing to resolve the bifurcation promises made by the Centre. The MPs of the TRS, who failed to rake up Telangana issues in Parliament during the session should answer to people, he demanded. None of the promises made to Telangana were accorded by the Centre and the TRS should make efforts towards that end, he felt.

The government has responsibility to address farmers’ issues, who were protesting for MSP for red jowar, turmeric and other crops. He demanded MSP of Rs 15000 per quintal for turmeric crop which got only Rs 4000 to Rs 5000.
