TRS Government puppet in MIM’s hands: Dattatreya

Hyderabad: Lashing out at TRS government once again on Friday, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya accused the ruling party of becoming ‘puppet’ in the hands of the All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and refraining from conducting Telangana Liberation Day on September 17.

Taking a dig at the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for failing to fulfil his promises, Dattatreya demanded that the government celebrate Liberation Day on September 17.

Dattatreya hit out at the CM for not being able to release waters to crops under the Kaleshwaram project, for not irrigating a single acre under the ambitious project so far and for rampant corruption rooted in all departments of the state government.

Dattatreya demanded a white paper on the funds released so far on different schemes.

Regarding Triple Talaq being passed in the parliament, Bandaru Dattatreya said that the Centre has come up with Triple Talaq Act was to protect the interests of Muslim women across the country.

Calling Congress a sinking boat, the BJP leader claimed that BJP is the alternative to the ruling party in Telangana.
