TS: 499 Muslim students get free MBBS seats

Hyderabad: A function was held on Sunday at Media Plus Auditorium to felicitate the candidates who got through NEET 2019 and sought admissions in various medical and dental colleges.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that the percentage of admissions in medical and other professional courses, Telangana has a glorious record. The other states are emulating the example of Hyderabad.

Advice of MESCO Secretary

Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed, Secretary, MESCO advised the candidates that after getting degrees, they should not confine their activities to medical and dental professions. They should also participate in community services besides making an attempts to seek admission in PG courses.

Dr. Abdul Qadeer, Chairman, Shaheen Group of Institutions, Bidar attended the function as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he told that under the auspices of Shaheen Group of Institutions, 16000 students are getting education in various educational institutions.

More than 200 students who had sought admissions in MBBS and BDS through NEET were given medals and certificates.

Mr. Ghouse Mohiuddin, Advisor, Shadaan Group of Institutions congratulated the successful students. He told that these students have sought admissions in A category thereby saving the money of their parents which they would have spent in getting their children admitted in B or C categories.

Dr. Iftekharuddin, Director, MESCO advised the medical students to keep themselves abreast of Islamic education. On this occasion, he introduced the details of MESCO ALEEF project.

Mr. M.A. Hameed, Career Counselor of Siasat informed that this year, 761 Muslim students sought admissions in MBBS out of which 499 got free seats in A category. Mr. Ajaz Ahmed, Director Shaheen Group of Institutions extended cooperation for the success of the program. Mr. Manzoor Ahmed, Mr. Ahmed Basheeruddin Farooqui, Mr. Khaja Ali, Mr. Shoeb Shah, Mr. Inamul Haj Qadri and Tahir Qadri assisted the organizers. Mr. Fazil Husain Parvez, Editor Urdu weekly ‘Gawah’ and Mr. Shahbaz made the arrangements.
