Hyderabad: Home Minister of TS, Mr. Mahmood Ali while talking to the press reporter of Siasat Urdu Daily told that the dismantling of masjid at Amberpet by Municipal officials is a tragic incident which has hurt the sentiments of the Muslims. Mr. Mahmood Ali further told that it is an incident of the negligence of Municipal authorities.
It may be mentioned that GHMC Officials had dismantled the old masjid located at Amberpet in connection with road widening work. The MP of Hyderabad, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi, Floor Leaders of MIM are also irritated.
The Muslims of Hyderabad are also expressing their wrath on social media.
Mr. Mehmood Ali informed that he had a meeting with GHMC Commissioner, Mr. Dana Kishore, CEO of Wakf Board, Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim and other officials. In the meeting, it was decided that a grand masjid would be constructed at the same place soon. He further told that TRS Govt. respects all the religions equally.
Mr. Mahmood Ali requested the Muslims to be peaceful.
