‘Tu idhar udhar ki baat na kar’; Katju lashes out at govt.

Justice Markandey Katju a former Judge of Supreme Court of India and former Chairman, Press Council of India has been targeting Modi government in a series of his tweets.

In a latest tweet on Saturday he questioned about the reasons behind the economic crisis the country is facing with. He tweeted:
Tu idhar udhar ki baat na kar Yeh bataa aarthik qafila kyun luta ?

Lashing out the government on the situation of Kashmir, justice Katju reposted on his twitter handle: “Har cheez ki had hoti hai
Today, October 5th, is the 60th day of the shutdown in Kashmir.
As yet, internet and mobile phone facilities have not been restored, and often there are curfews and other restrictions in Kashmir.
Internet and mobile phones are not luxuries but necessities today. Being deprived of them for even one day makes one’s life miserable, what to say of 60 days.
I was told by some Kashmiris that whereas they could earlier fill in a form online, now they have to go 20 kms to an office to fill it.
Everything has a limit, and the Indian Govt is crossing it. The abrogation of Articles 35A and 370 were gimmicks by a beleaguered government to divert attention from the economic crisis in India, but then gimmicks also sometimes cross limits.
