Two “Arogya Vanams” opened in Medipally area

Hyderabad: Forest Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy today launched two Urban Forest Parks “Arogya Vanam” at Dammaiguda and Jatayuvu in Medipally areas for people to relax and walk. 
           

Addressing the gathering later, the ministers said the parks were developed with all facilities at an estimated cost of Rs 74.424 lakh. As part of forest lung space areas, these parks are developed by the government for people to enjoy a non-polluted and green environment with family members, he said. They will become tourist spots with facilities like walking track, yoga shed and harvesting structures. From Gajiba – a viewpoint total park area and the city can be viewed,  the ministers said.
           

They said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was committed to provide green and theme parks for lung space around the city. More facilities will be made at the parks like food court, play area for children, gym and others, they added.
