Two teachers forced students, sexually harass them for saying NO

Visakhapatnam: Two teachers were sent on leave pending an inquiry by School authorities after two students have come up with allegations of sexual harassment against the two teachers in Vishakhapatnam.

The school authorities have sent the two accused teachers on leave and have begun probe in the matter after two high school students alleged they have been sexually harassed by the two of their teachers, TN reports.

The school situated in Anantagiri Mandal of Araku Valley is managed by the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) where the incident is reported to have occurred. 

The students have approached the ITDA and lodged a complaint against the two accused.

R Balaji, ITDA project officer said a probe has been ordered in the incident and all the necessary action will be taken against the accused. 

Assistant Tribal Welfare Officer Suryanarayana said, “The allegation is that the teachers have been forcing the girl students to accompany them for entertainment.”

Further probe is underway.
