Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai made an announcement of five-year tourist visa.
New visa rules
It may be mentioned that new visa rules will cover citizens of all nationals. It aims to promote the UAE as a global tourist destination.
Sheikh Mohammed said that more than 21 million tourists visit the UAE annually.
Tourism economy
The move to introduce a five-year tourist visa is to support the tourism economy of the country.
On Twitter, Sheikh said that the year 2020 will be the year of preparation for the next 50 years.
