Urdu University bags Rajbhasha award

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University has bagged 3rd Prize among 52 offices located in Hyderabad for effective implementation & promotion of Rajbhasha (Hindi).

According to Dr. Shagufta Parveen, Hindi Officer, MANUU based on regular reports sent to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, MANUU was selected by “Town Official Language Implementation Committee” (TOLIC), Hyderabad among both Central & State Government offices for third prize. It is an honour for MANUU, she added.

The Chairman of the committee, Dr. Munawar Hussain Kazmi in a letter to the Vice-Chancellor intimated that the award will be given to MANUU at a ceremony scheduled to be held on September 19, 2019 at Geological Survey of India Training Institute.

Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice Chancellor , Prof. Ayub Khan, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dr. M.A. Sikandar, Registrar, MANUU have congratulated the Hindi Cell of the University for this achievement.
