VHP calls Statewide stir against Akbar Owaisi remarks

Hyderabad: The State Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Friday called for a Statewide agitation protesting the comments of MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi at Karimnagar recently. It said the comments  Owaisi had hurt the people in the entire Country.

The VHP claimed that Owaisi made hate comments against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao .


 VHP Telangana state president Ramaraju, in a statement, has demanded immediate arrest of Owaisi. He wanted that they would lay siege around the DGP office on August 7, if Owaisi was not arrested by the State government. He said they would organize burning of effigy of the CM KCR. Owaisi said the protest programs would be held on July 31 in the city.

Two residents of the city, Tirupati Naik and Kailash have lodged a criminal complaint against Owaisi at the Sultan bazar police station and urged it to take action against him.
