From Virat Kohli to Mohammad Kaif, Cricket fraternity condemn Pulwama attack

The deadliest terror attack on security forces in Kashmir has outraged the entire nation in which around 40 CRPF personnel were killed on Thursday when their convoy was targeted in Pulwama district on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

From the Indian captain Virat Kohli to VVS Laxman, the cricket fraternity condemn the attack and to send their condolences to the families of the martyrs. Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, VVS Laxman, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina and Mohammed Kaif took to Twitter and expressed their views.

“I’m shocked after hearing about the attack in Pulwama, heartfelt condolences to the martyred soldiers & prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured jawaans,” team India skipper Virat Kohli tweeted.

“Deeply saddened and disturbed by the news. I condemn the terror attack in #Pulwama. My condolences to the families of the jawans who sacrificed their lives,” Tweeted Shikhar Dhawan.

The former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif on Twitter stated, “Really pained to hear about the attack on our #CRPF men who have been martyred in the attack in J&K. I pray the coward attackers are taught a lesson at the earliest.”
