Vote against TRS for encouraging defections: CPI

Hyderabad: CPI State secretary and former MLA Chada Venkat Reddy today slammed TRS Chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for encouraging defections of legislators and suppressing the Opposition parties. The politics in Telangana have been destroyed by KCR regime, he charged.

Talking to mediapersons after a meeting with Congress candidate for Malkajgiri MP segment Revanth Reddy, the CPI leader said TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has belittled the politics in the State. He condemned the TRS for encouraging defections and trying to suppress the Opposition parties. Revanth Reddy sought the help of the CPI in the LS polls and will announce decision in two or three days, Venkat Reddy said. He also appealed to people to teach a lesson to the TRS in the LS polls.
