Lucknow: Former chairman of the Shia Waqf Board, Wasim Rizvi has been tested positive for coronavirus, following which he has gone into self isolation.
Despite being in home quarantine, Wasim Rizvi continues jibes in his style and has asked the people not get happy with his corona positive test report. He said he will return soon after defeating Corona.
Wasim Rizvi went to Rampur on September 15 in connection with the investigation of an ongoing trial against him. After returning from Rampur he developed symptoms. He underwent corona test at Charak Hospital in Lucknow. When the report came he was found positive for COVID. He has advised all those who came in contact with him to undergo the test.
According to Newstrack, he attacked the mullahs and said, “They should not be happy with my corona positive report, I will return soon after beating coronavirus.” Wasim Rizvi who is currently in home quarantine disclosed “Right now I have only head and stomach pain during the infection, the sniffing power is gone, so I am not yet getting admitted after the advice of doctors in the hospital.”
