Hyderabad: In yet another incident, a married woman eloped with her beau after poisoning her husband, two children and father-in-law.
The incident occurred in Karimnagar’s Burugupalli village. It took place on Thursday night but only came to light today, Hans reports.
The accused woman is identified as Uma who was married to V Anjaiah had two children Siddharta (11) and Manvitha (4).
According to reports, the accused allegedly poisoned the family by offering them poison-laced semia.
She is speculated have eloped with her beau after committing the crime.
The family members including mother-in-law fell unconscious soon after consuming the semia.
According to sources, the family was rushed to district hospital when the villagers learned about the incident.
Meanwhile, Manvitha condition is said to be critical.
The police registered a case and are investigating.
