Kolkata: Two men involved in alleged molestation of a married woman in a moving bus were nabbed within minutes of the crime as Police swiftly acted on the emergency call made by the victim.
The incident occurred in Kolkata’s West Bengal where the victim was molested in front of her husband and daughter who were traveling with her in the bus, India Today reports.
Dialing emergency number 100 saved the woman as the police arrived at the spot and arrested one of the accused from the bus near NRS hospital in Sealdah while the other accused managed to flee.
According to the police, the woman boarded the bus on Sunday morning along with her husband and daughter.
The accused molested her near Wellington Crossing when she decided to inform the police.
The bus was stopped near NRS hospital by local police officials, along with traffic police officers.
