Youth beaten for raising anti-CAA slogans at Amit Shah’s meeting

New Delhi: A youth was thrashed by BJP members for raising slogans against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s public meeting in New Delhi on Sunday.

However, Amit Shah directed the security staff to take the youth to safety.

According to Times Now, a group of youth started raising anti-CAA slogans when Amit Shah was addressing an election rally in Delhi’s Babarpur. They were demanding the revocation of the contentious citizenship law.

People present there caught one of the youths and began thrashing him. However, he was pulled away from the angered public and was taken to safety by security personnel after Amit Shah’s intervention.
