Andhra Pradesh Assembly’s budget session from Feb 17

Hyderabad, February 11: The budget session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly would begin on February 17.

Governor E S L Narasimhan today summoned the Assembly and Legislative Council to begin their next sessions from February 17.

The session is expected to be stormy as the TRS today said it will move a no-confidence motion against the Congress Government on the Telangana issue.

The Telangana party may demand passing a resolution in support of the separate statehood demand during the session.

The main Opposition TDP and other parties would try to corner Ghe government on various issues, including tuition fees reimbursement for backward class students, sufferings of farmers and weavers.

The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) has already announced its decision to start a non-cooperation agitation from February 17 in support of its demand for introducing a bill for formation of separate Telangana in the budget session of Parliament.
