AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday disclosed that his government would start paying Rs 1,000 pension to old-age persons from October 2, this year.
Addressing farmers at Kamavarapukota during his West Godavari tour, Naidu said new tax structure was being implemented in the new capital city from June 1. He said they were reviewing the situation as they do not know how much money would be pouring into the exchequer.
Chandrababu said he has spoken to the RBI officials today on farmers’ loan rescheduling issue. Stating that a clarity would come on the subject in the next few days, the AP CM once again clarified that his party government was committed to implement the Farm Loan Waiver scheme under any circumstances. He also said efforts were being made to ensure that every farmer’s family in the State would be benefited. He also declared that the Polavaram project would be completed in four years.
