Commissioner of police Mr. M Mahindra Reddy visited old city along with high officials of police department yesterday night. He made the visit in view of proposed Ganesh festival and to maintain peace in the city. On the occasion he visited several areas but he didn’t meet the people.
He halted on some police stations and got acquainted with the arrangements being made in connection with Ganesh festival in sensitive areas. He also gave necessary orders to concerned staff and officials. He asked to finalise strict security arrangements and maintain strict vigilance on the situation.
