Man arrested for selling ganja
(Siasat news): The police have arrested a man for selling ganja at Mangalhat. Police also seized 20 kgs ganja from him.
It is said that that Sanjay Singh, an autorickshaw driver, was selling the narcotic substance near his house in Upper Dhoolpet in Mangalhat when he was arrested.
Sanjay Singh was nabbed by task force additional DCP Mr. Rameshiah. Further investigations are on.
Reporter beaten up
(Siasat News): A vernacular TV channel reporter who had gone to cover a land dispute issue, was confined and reportedly beaten up by three persons at Madannapet police station limits.
According to the police, after the reporter, Pramod, entered the disputed place, the accused Jaffer and his friends beat him.
Later, Pramod lodged a complaint with the police following which cases have been registered against all the accused.
Woman dies as train hit her
(Siasat News): According to railway police Secunderabad, an unidentified 70-year-old woman was hit by a train near Malkajgiri railway station when she was trying to cross the railway tracks and died on the spot.
Railway head constable Yousuf Shareef said that the deceased was a beggar and the dead body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital.
Theft in temple
(Siasat News): A complaint was lodged with Mahankali police station in Bansilalpet by one Srinivas, 48, a private employee and the caretaker of a temple in Ranigunj, saying that some unidentified persons had stolen the silver crown of the idol weighing 1 kg and four gold bangles from the hands of the idol and fled.
Police is investigating.
House burgled at Karkhana
(Siasat News): a house was burgled at Karkhana in Secunderabad. As per the details, one Subhash had locked his house and had gone to his work.
When he returned in the afternoon to have lunch, he found the lock of the house broke open. When he searched the house, he found that the gold ornaments and 1 kg silver was stolen.
He immediately lodged a complaint with Karkhana police. Further investigations are in progress.
