The eighth batch of Haj Pilgrims from Telangana consisting of 300 pilgrims belonging to Hyderabad, flew off from Haj Terminal of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamsabad here on Saturday.
With this, so far 2700 pilgrims have left for Haj, said Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor. He said that all the pilgrims are safe and busy in prayers in Holy Makkah.
Prof Shukoor and SHC Executive Officer Abdul Hameed flagged off the eighth batch of the pilgrims. Ninth flight, scheduled to fly on Sunday at 8.20 PM, consists of 350 pilgrims, all belonging to Hyderabad. (INN)
