Harish Rao to inaugurate “Telangana Rangula Pallaki” in Bengaluru on Apr 19

Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao will inaugurate a 10-day “Reves” Art Gallery an exhibition and “Telangana Rangula Pallaki” at Bengaluru on April 19.

The Minister will address the expo as chief guest, while BV Papa Rao, Advisor of Telangana Government and M Harikrishna, Director, Department of Language and Culture will be the guests of honour.

The first of its kind expo will be kicked off on a grand note at Jaya Nagar’s Reves Gallery in Bengaluru highlighting the famous artworks of noted Telangana Artists. The Expo is being organised by Rajani Rekha an artist from Nalgonda district whose intention is to create a platform to the artists across the state giving it apt name of “Pallaki” to promote their art works.

The “Telangana Rangula Pallaki” will help the eminent artists portray their awe inspiring works she said. Besides proving handy the expo will unfold the significance of the art of the region and bring forth the history of the artistic tradition as part of cultural renaissance of Telangana. However, her promotion of art is not just confined to one region as she is focusing on to promote in a big way the young and upcoming artists from all over India.

Reves Art Gallery is established with an intention to display and promote works of Indian artists belonging to a wide gamut of styles and genres she said. Art works of the following noted personalities will be on display including – Thota Narasimham, K Laxma Goud, Aley Lakshman, Srinivas Reddy, Gowri Vemula, Rajani Rekha, Anjaneyulu Gundu and others. according to a press note.
