Commissioner of Labour & Chief Inspector under AP Shops & Establishment Act, 1988 has declared paid holiday under Sub Section (2) of Section 31 of AP Shops & Establishment Act, 1988 to all the employees / workers employed in the shops and establishments situated in 10 districts of Telangana region on April 30 and in 13 districts of Seemandhra Region on May 7 where general elections to Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly are scheduled to be held on the above days.
The Labour Commissioner directed all the concerned employers to allow their employees a paid holidays on April 30 and May 7 respectively. (NSS)
