RMoL Chairman Meetha Lal Mehta dies at 75

Former IAS officer and Chairman of Rajasthan Mission on Skill and Livelihood Meetha Lal Mehta died today at a private hospital.

He was 75.

Mehta had suffered a chest congestion and heart attack at the SDM Hospital here on November 19 and was later sent to a Mumbai hospital by Air Ambulance late last month.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje condoled his death saying that Mehta had a very important contribution in the development of Rajasthan as an IAS and Chief Secretary of the state.

After retirement Mehta took up the post of RMoL and worked seriously for the cause, she said in a statement.
