Shankar demands probe against all ministers from 2004 to 2014

Stating that some Congress leaders were alone destroying the party in the Telangana State, Congress leader and former minister P. Shankar Rao has alleged that the party was rejected by the people in the last elections because of rampant corruption during 10-year Congress rule from 2004 to 2014.
Speaking to mediapersons on the Assembly premises on Thursday, Shankar Rao asked Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to order a probe into the corrupt practices of all Ministers from 2004 to 2014 in the State. He also criticized TPCC vice-president Shabbir Ali for his remarks against him on Wednesday. He said he was sacked by then Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy in an undemocratic manner without hearing his version.
The former minister said the Congress would have no future in Telangana unless the “corrupt” leaders were suspended from the party. (NSS)
