The Telangana state Government declared Holi holiday on March 6, 2015. Earlier the government had announced holiday on Thursday, March 5.
According to the orders issued on November 5, 2014, Holi holiday was scheduled on March 5, however in a fresh announcement the government declared public holiday on account of Holi on March 6. Chief Secretary Telangana Dr. Rajiv Sharma issued notification in this connection.
