Vigilance Commissioner Rajiv has been authorized by President Pranab Mukherjee to act as the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
The appointment has been made in the vacancy caused due to completion of the tenure of Pradeep Kumar the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
The authorisation is effective until the appointment of the Central Vigilance Commissioner.
