Jhajjar (Haryana), December 05: A woman was hacked to death allegedly by her husband over a domestic feud at their residence in Dighal village here today, police said.
The deceased was identified as Rajbala (38).
The police has registered a case of murder against Surender under Section 302 of the IPC following a complaint by the deceased’s son.
“As per preliminary investigations, Surender suspected the character of Rajbala, which appears to be the main reason behind the crime. However, further investigations in the case are going on,” Superintendent of Police, Jhajjar Sourabh Singh said.
Surender, who had been living separately on the upper portion of the couple’s house, suddenly came down and attacked her with a sharp edged weapon.
On hearing the sound of her mother screaming, Ashish, the son of the couple, rushed to the kitchen and tried to save her mother but failed.
