Hyderabad: 70th passing out parade of IPS probationers will be held on 24th August at SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
According to the press note issued by Mr. Abhay, Director of the Academy, 92 IPS probationers have been given training which includes 12 women candidates, 11 probationers from Nepal and Bhutan.
Mr. Ghouse Alam, a native of Gaya, Bihar has been adjudged as the outstanding all-rounder IPS Probationer.
Union Home Minister, Mr. Amit Shah will award PM’s baton, Vice President’s Trophy, Home Minister’s revolver, BSF Trophy, Mehta Cup, PL Mehta Commandant Cup and Manipur Cup for Law to Mr. Ghouse Alam on the occasion of passing out parade.
It may be mentioned that Mr. Ghouse Alam along with two other IPS Officers have been allotted Telangana State whereas, three IPS probationers got AP and five Karnataka Cadre. In this batch, two Muslim IPS officers namely; Mr. Ghouse Alam and SM Qasim Abedi have been selected.
