Movement to be launched for undivided Kashmir

New Delhi: A movement demanding undivided Kashmir will soon be launched in the state. Though the National Conference, Congress and PDP have not formally announced this, according to political sources, the political parties are preparing a new strategy to seek undivided state, presently forgetting about Article 370 and 35A. Inquilab daily reported.

It must be noted that NCP chief and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah has recently met 15 of his party leaders, after which PDP chief and former chief minister Mehbooba mufti also met her party leaders.

As per the reports, political leaders who are in detention will soon be released.

According to sources national conference Chief Farooq Abdullah will run movement demanding undivided state. He may also take PDP and Congress along with him.

Kashmiri leaders will demand that the statehood status of Jammu and Kashmir is restored before the elections because it is unconstitutional to declare any state as union territory without any reason. It has also been learnt that as of now political parties will remain silent over section 370 and 35A.
