Muzaffarnagar (UP), Mar 5 (PTI) One person was killed and four were injured as members of two communities clashed with each other in Chitoda village here today, police said.
Hasan Abbas (25) was killed in the clash during which sharp-edged weapons and lathis were used, SP Crime Rakesh Jolly said.
The four injured were shifted to hospital. A case was registered against 8 persons under Jansath police station, he said.
Security has been tightened in the village and extra police force has been deployed, he said.
