Unani hospital was established in Shamsabad 38 years ago but it had no building of its own. After years of struggle no measure was taken by the government. Seeing the precarious condition of the rented building after taking charge of his post, Dr. Mohammed Faheemuddin Ansari Senior Medical Officer Shamsabad took special interest and obtained 500 sqyds land.
On his request 20 lakhs were sanctioned for the hospital from Union budget under National Ayush Mission. Dr. Mohammed Faheemuddin Ansari told that the task was undertaken with the help of Commissioner Ayush Rajendra Reddy, Additional Director Dr. Mir Yousuf Ali and RDD Dr. Vasant Rao. Construction of Shamsabad Unani Hospital will begin soon.
