25 nations to take part in M.P. Travel Mart at Bhopal


Bhopal, October 10 (Pervez Bari): Around 70 representatives from 25 countries, 175 representatives from the country and 80 representatives related to Travels and Tour Operators Association are expected to take part in the three-day third edition of M.P. Travel Mart here in Bhopal, the capital of central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh from October 15.

According to an official spokesman during the Travel Mart deliberations would be held on scope of tourism industry increase in the number of tourists, investment in tourism sector and encouragement to international tourism besides hotels and hospitality.

The M.P. Travel Mart will be inaugurated by the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on October 15 at 9.00 a.m. Chouhan will also distribute awards to winners in the M.P. Tourism Awards Distribution programme.

A total number of 30 awards are being given in 22 categories. Minister of State for Tourism & Culture (Independent Charge) Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Surendra Patwa and Chairman of State Tourism Development Corporation Tapan Bhoumik will be present specially on the occasion.
