Hyderabad: On Friday, the IV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Erramanzil, awarded imprisonment apart from imposing fine up to Rs 1,96,000 to the offenders of Drunken Driving.
The Enforcement against Drunk Driving was carried out in May up to 13 and a total number of 751cases were booked against the Drunk Drivers. This year so far, a total number of 5,735 cases have been registered out of which 1980 drunken drivers have been imprisoned. During the day time also special drive is being conducted on Drunken Drive. (NSS)
