In a shocking incident, a four-month-old baby was kidnapped and sold for Rs 40,000 to a tantrik (occulist) for human sacrifice in North eastern area of Delhi.
According to report, the four-month-old girl is a daughter of Imrana and Shan Mohammed, who went missing on Saturday from their residence in Nehru Vihar locality, following which they approached the police.
Acting on a tip of toe, Police have arrested three people in connection with the incident. Police reveals that the girl was kidnapped by none other than her maternal uncle, who abducted her and sold her to a tantrik (godman) for Rs 40,000.
A case has been registered under Sections 363, 364 and 34 IPC. In the past, there have been several incidences when babies have been abducted from from northeast areas of the national capital for human sacrifices. And not every time, they were lucky enough to be rescued on time.
